Professional West Yorkshire rugby league club Wakefield Wildcats has announced record
t-shirt sales for 2007.
Over 1,000 pre-orders of home and away
tees have been received by the club, as supporters aim to receive shirts before Christmas.
The new strip has been designed by Italian kit manufacturer Errea and, according to the Wildcats, has been "a hit with fans".
Children's replica
t-shirts have sold particularly well and pre-orders have almost taken up the first delivery of new shirts.
Head of sales James Elston said: "The new shirts have been extremely well received by our supporters with a record number of pre-orders. The new kit styling [has] gone down very well with positive feedback from all age groups."
"There are a small number of shirts in the first delivery available aside from those that have been pre-ordered."
The team plays in red, white and blue
shirts.
