The Barleycorn Inn, Wiltshire is set to raffle a replica
t-shirt in support of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
A remake of the signed shirt worn by England players in the 1966 World Cup final is the star prize of a fundraising project by the Collingbourne Kingston pub, the Salisbury Journal reports.
Landlord and landlady Roy King and Suzanne Darbinson are hoping to contribute funds to the £350,000 needed to keep the local air ambulance service running each year.
The service depends on charity donations as it is not eligible for government or lottery funding.
Appeal coordinator Tracey Edwards said: "We hope football fans in Wiltshire take part in this very special raffle."
Meanwhile, a number of football clubs across the UK are supporting the Royal British Legion by donating special edition
t-shirts for charity auctions.
Clubs include Manchester City and Norwich Carlyle, which recently raised more than £7,000 from an eBay auction, the Norwich Evening News claims.
And according to reports from the Leominster Journal, a signed
t-shirt from the England rugby team helped raise £4,000 for the North Herefordshire Renton appeal to help fund a new cancer unit at Hereford County Hospital.
