Pupils at a Norwich secondary school have been given the chance to win a
celebrity t-shirt, it has emerged.
Some 1,000 students at Notre Dame High School, who recently took part in a fancy dress sponsored walk to raise money for the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (Cafod), were offered prizes by the charity, the Advertiser reports.
Sending photos of their costumes from the pirates and ladies walk, students have been offered the chance to win a
t-shirt signed by the cast of television series Casualty, along with signed trainers and racquet from tennis player Daniela Hantuchova and other celebrity merchandise.
Schools and Youth Fundraising officer Patrick Murphy told the publication: "We loved the photos of Notre Dame's fancy dress sponsored walk.
"We wanted to encourage young people to have fun while supporting Cafod's work and the Notre Dame pupils look like they're really enjoying themselves."
Students may have used
plain t-shirts to form the base of their costumes for the walk.
The five-mile walk raised more than £10,000 for charity - £2,500 of which will be donated to Cafod - with the remaining funds being divided between different charities nominated by the school.
Cafod's work includes campaigns in international development and disasters and emergencies, along with support of UK schools.
