Liverpool band The Most Terrifying Thing recently contributed its signature
t-shirts in support of Oxfam.
As part of the month-long Oxfam music festival Oxjam, the band gave away CDs and
red and black t-shirts, with proceeds from sales being donated to charity.
"It wasn't really a promo thing - we just thought we'd try and raise a little bit more into the pot for the final totals," singer Chris Price said.
The rock band, which had the
t-shirts printed before embarking on their first big UK tour, also headlined at an Oxjam event at Sefton Park Palm House last month.
Thousands of music events took place across the UK in October aiming to support Oxfam's work, with organisers claiming it was the country's biggest music festival.
Events were organised by members of the public and included performances from local bands and solo acts.
The Most Terrifying Things's debut album Victoriana was released this year to much acclaim.
