T-shirt Day in Stuttgart
Wednesday 22nd of November 2006 11:15:00 AM

Stuttgart, Arkansas hosted its annual
T-shirt Day yesterday, sponsored by fibreglass firm Scott Manufacturing.
The festival is a "running tradition" in the town, Stephen Bell, executive vice president of the local chamber of commerce, told the Stuttgart Daily Leader.
Allowing residents of the town to support the local economy, which relies heavily on rice production and game shooting,
tees are being sold by the chamber of commerce.
Tee-shirts on sale celebrate the 71st Wings Over the Prairie Festival, along with the world championship duck calling contest and are available in
different colours.
Other businesses to sponsor the events included duck calling products manufacturer Rich-N-Tone, which supported youth events.
Meanwhile, in other business news, local prints and designs are proving popular for
t-shirts, the South Manchester Reporter claims.
BlueCat Store, a business in the north-west of England, has seen its revenues increase after printing
t-shirts with Greater Manchester place names.
Andy Beeley at BlueCat told the newspaper: "We introduced them this summer and are now planning to extend the range."
