A restaurant in London is using
t-shirts to enhance its rustic and traditional atmosphere, it has emerged.
Waiters and waitresses at the Bumpkin eatery in the W11 region of the UK's capital wear
t-shirts saying Country Boy and Country Girl respectively, reports the Evening Standard.
In addition to their
t-shirts, staff wear blue apron as they serve customers at "warped table tops".
According to the newspaper, the t-shirt-clad staff are "unusually agreeable" and knowledgeable, and concentrate on making sure the diner has a good time.
The Bumpkin was opened this year and advertises under the motto "for city folk who like a little country living".
From the same group which provides Eclipse bars, Cocoon restaurants and Volstead clubs, the diner contains open kitchens on three of its four floors and provides tea towels as napkins.
The Bumpkin also serves wines from around the world and whiskies from Ireland, Scotland and the US.
