Celebrities showed their support for aspiring filmmakers at the Sundance Institute this week by wearing
t-shirts displaying their less glamorous jobs of the past.
Robert Redford organised an event which saw well-know stars of film, such as Uma Thurman and Clare Danes, reveal their employment history on plain
t-shirts, reports Hello Magazine.
Redford's event was designed to show Hollywood's future film talent that they are not alone in having to work their way to stardom.
Danes, who appeared in Romeo and Juliet alongside Leonardo Di Caprio, highlighted her previous job as a nursery school teacher's assistant, while Thurman, who starred in Kill Bill, used to be a burrito roller.
Matthew Modine, who was also present at the event, informed guests that he used to dig ditches and deliver mattresses.
The Sundance Institute is an organisation which dedicates itself to supporting emerging screenwriters and directors, as well as exhibiting dramatic and documentary films.
