Doherty to launch new range of t-shirts
Monday 06th of November 2006 05:35:00 PM

Newly designed
t-shirts by Babyshambles' lead singer Pete Doherty will be on display in forthcoming concerts by the band.
Expected to make an appearance before Christmas, the new-range of
t-shirts will be launched under the Gio-Goi label.
Unlike traditional new-range launches, where products first appear on the catwalk, it will be the front-man's fans who will see the designs for the first time.
At present, the date and location of the product's inaugural appearance have yet to be revealed.
Gio-Goi co-founder Anthony Donnelly said: "Pete looks fantastic as a model.
"We are very excited and we look forward to having Pete's influence as a rock icon in the design process."
Other music groups to work on t-shirt designs in the past include Manchester bands Oasis and the Happy Mondays.
Babyshambles released their first album last year, which was entitled Down in Albion.
