Race-day volunteers offered free t-shirts
Friday 03rd of November 2006 04:25:00 PM

Commemorative
t-shirts will be on offer to volunteers who lend their help towards the Annual Thanksgiving Day Run in Niles, Ohio, this month.
T-shirts will have the 2006 Thanksgiving Day Run logo emblazoned on the front, reports the Niles Daily Star.
The event, which takes place on Thursday November 23rd, is being organised by the Niles-Buchanan YMCA and 1ST Source Bank.
Young people in particular are being urged to play their part in proceedings, with the YMCA calling on Boy and Girl Scout groups, as well as church and service organisations to play their part.
Volunteers will be helping the community by aiding race-day registrations, hospitality tables, racecourse traffic control and other events which occur on the day.
T-shirts are also being handed out to participants of the Run For Food, which takes place in Chico, California, on the same day.
Participants who have already registered for the event will receive their
t-shirts before the race starts, while those entering from today will have their
t-shirts sent through the post, reports the ChicoER.
