Children who took part in a half-term rugby camp in the midlands were issued with free
t-shirts and medals at the end of the course.
Rugby For All ran the sporting programme in association with Rugby Borough Council for a number of schools in the area and presented the young players with
t-shirts branded with the organisation's name, reports the Rugby Advertiser.
Youngsters aged between six and 11 were permitted to take part in the camps and 50 children in the region attended the events.
Although some technical skills were taught, the emphasis on the camps was for children to have fun.
Organisers of the school-holiday programmes concentrated on developing the children's passing, tackling and communication skills.
Local club, Rugby Lions, provided the children with their ground Webb Ellis Road, as well as a number of other facilities.
Rugby Lions play in National League Three North and wear black and red shirts.
