Academy to teach aspects of t-shirt retailing

The newly opened Fashion Retail Academy in London will provide students with information on how to market
t-shirts.
In addition, the institution, which was opened by prime minister Tony Blair this week, will teach fashion students how best to organise
t-shirts in window displays, reports the Telegraph.
Overall, the academy has been specifically designed to provide education on all aspects of retailing.
Commenting during the opening of the academy, Mr Blair highlighted his lack of fashion sense, telling the audience that his family had laughed when he told them he was visiting the West End-based centre.
"The fashion academy - alongside the others we will launch - means that there is a new way to learn that will be exciting and different," Mr Blair said.
"In the past people who have decided to go down the vocational route have not had the facilities they need."
Students, who joined the academy last month, will gain visits from industry professionals throughout their tenure.
Last week, young designers of
t-shirts in Des Moines, US, launched a new product range in support of their former school.
