A t-shirt design contest has been launched in Minden, Louisiana to raise money for a children's research hospital.
Part of the annual Minden St Jude Auction, the competition aims to promote the event and is open to individuals of all ages, along with schools, sports clubs and art classes, reports NWL News.
"The community has been so supportive for 31 years," auction co-chair Christie Ruple told the news provider.
"We would like for them to help come up with our theme and […] t-shirt design," she added.
The theme of last year's St Jude Auction was Racing for a Cure, which raised around $704,000.
Recently, a charity ball held by Russell Athletic raised $225,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; guests were asked to attend the ball in black tie and sweatshirts.
Meanwhile, a football fan in Morcambe is planning to auction a t-shirt signed by Brazilian star player Pele in support of Brain Tumour UK.
