An increasing number of partygoers will use Halloween as an excuse to dress up as - and mock - the stars, it has emerged.

Fox News reports that Paris Hilton and the Jolie-Pitts may be coming to a party near you this weekend, recommending a plain t-shirt, red headband, red belt and skinny jeans to pull off Hilton's look.

However, instead of a stuffed Chihuahua and massive diamond, this year's Hilton emulations are likely to carry a margarita and a mug shot, in reference to her recent driving misdemeanour.

Other recommended dress-ups are Tom Cruise, with a plain t-shirt, leather jacket and baby doll being the requirements for achieving Cruise's look.

"Everyone is always trying to look like a celebrity," Julie Yarsawich of EvesAddiction, a website which provides Halloween jewelry, told the news provider.

In related news, celebrity-babies reports that an increasing number of parents will choose to dress their children up as celebrity kids for Halloween this year.
