Hanesbrands to host investor conference

T-shirt, sweatshirt and polo shirt manufacturer Hanesbrands has announced plans to host an investor conference call to discuss its strategic objectives.

The call will be the first of its kind for the t-shirt manufacturer to take place over the internet and will also cover Hanesbrands' recent financial performance.

Presented as a live internet broadcast, the call will take place on October 31st and can be accessed on the homepage of the Hanesbrands corporate website www.hanesbrands.com.

Hanesbrands is a leading US manufacturer of apparel including innerwear, outerwear and hosiery, with brands such as Hanes, Champion, Playtex and Wonderbra.

The firm employs around 50,000 employees, with a global reach in 24 countries.

Recently, the t-shirt manufacturer announced a restructuring drive, which in line with its strategic aim of reducing costs, will see operations in North America closed down.
