The family of a 21-year-old woman who was killed in Coventry last year are urging t-shirt printers to help them raise money for charity in her memory.
In order to raise money for the schools that Gemma Newman attended, her family are taking part in the Coventry Lady Godiva Half Marathon and Fun Run on Sunday and are calling for t-shirts to be printed to support the runners, reports the Coventry Telegraph.
Ms Newman's sister Kelly told the newspaper: "We would ask people to do whatever they want to do. Every little bit helps."
The runners, who include Ms Newman's mum, aunts and cousins, are taking on the half marathon, while her sister and dad are taking part in the fun run.
Money is to be raised for Canon Evans First School, Canon Maggs Middle School and Nicholas Chamberlaine Secondary School, all in Bedworth.
Last month, a charity football match in Ms Newman's name raised over £5,000.
The Warwickshire schoolgirl and trainee accountant was murdered by her jilted boyfriend last November.
