No stranger to a little self promotion and never one to appear plain, Paris Hilton has been spotted in Beverley Hills wearing her own take on the plain white tee.

The singer-heiress completed a rebel rock-chic look, which saw her loaded down with heavy chains, with a plain white t-shirt, according to the Mirror.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan has been working a rock image, seen out recently wearing Queen and Bob Dylan t-shirts, tshirtwatch states.

And British up-and-coming singer Liley Allen, who has been commended for her unique and individual style, has also been working the white t-shirt recently.

Customising her look for a performance at the London club night G-A-Y, Allen appeared dressed in a Paddington Bear-style costume, with a plain t-shirt and mustard coloured coat.

Victoria Newton of the Sun described her as showing "impressive originality".
