Cancer Research UK is using the month of October for fundraising activities and to sell a host of merchandise, including its landmark pink t-shirts, according to a report.
October is breast cancer awareness month and the charity will undertake a number of activities to boost its coffers, according to the Coventry Evening Telegraph.
For example, there will be local initiatives such as the community walk in Coventry's Coombe Abbey Country Park.
Organised as part of the All Walk Together campaign, the event will see participants decked out in Cancer Research's pink t-shirt.
The charity will boost its takings with the sale of the t-shirts, adding to the range with a double layer t-shirt.
Recently, the Newcastle Falcons announced their intention to play this season's matches in the pink t-shirts of Cancer Research.
The north-east rugby union club will don the t-shirts in order to raise money for the charity and particularly to help tackle breast cancer.
