A business in the north-west has benefited from printing local designs on its t-shirts, a regional newspaper claims.
Made by Andy Beeley, of BlueCat Store, which prints t-shirts for the music industry, the new revenue increasing designs feature local Manchester place names.
"We introduced them this summer and are now planning to extend the range," Mr Beeley told the South Manchester Reporter.
"Didsbury is the biggest seller - maybe people in Didsbury want to shout about it more than people who live in other places like Crumpsall," he added.
In related news, environmental group Greenpeace has recently announced plans to launch a t-shirt design competition to back a campaign.
The organisation has expressed concerns over the use of toxic chemicals in computers and will use the campaign t-shirt to encourage manufacturers to clean up production and improve their recycling facilities.
