Hard to believe that summer is gone and fall has arrived. Even if you don’t look outside and see the leaves changing or feel the cool air, you could tell by the fashions. The shorts and tees are replaced by long pants and sweatshirts. The question is: What’s in fashion for fall this year? For one thing, the clothing colors are bolder than they have been the last couple of years. Muted colors during the recession were common, but people are tired of drab colors and are cheering themselves up by wearing colors like burnt orange and bright red. Other popular colors include mustard, jade and shades of purple.Bold colors can do a lot for your mood. The difficult economy has been matched by glum moods, so splashes of color in clothes are welcomed. It feels good to slip on a comfortable sweatshirt in a stylish color. As one stylist commented, we are finally thinking in terms of recovery instead of recession and fashion can become exciting again. When you buy your t-shirts and sweatshirts, don’t just settle for grey and black. Go ahead and choose bolder colors like bright green and then add a dash of style by wearing jewelry, a hat, skinny jeans, a wide buckle belt or anything else that adds some pizzazz to your outfit.
The economy is still struggling, but that shouldn’t stop you from having some fashion fun. Choosing and wearing bold bright colors in sweatshirts, sweaters and t-shirts may be just the things to cheer you up. Affordable clothing purchased online won’t hurt your budget either, and that will give you yet another reason to smile. In these tough times, finding reasons to smile is important!
