Men! Cover Those Hairy Armpits with T-Shirts When on Vacation!

There are plenty of articles being written right now about the dress styles of men on vacation and especially British men. It’s not what you think though. These are not articles about nice cotton polo shirts matched with jeans or comfortable knee-length shorts. Oh no! They are articles about how so many men seem to instantly forget everything they know about fashion when they hear the word “vacation.”

Yes it’s true. Men who wear beautiful coordinated suits, dress shirts and ties to work day after day will appear on airplanes wearing sleeveless t-shirts and too-short shorts. They don’t seem to care that their hairy armpits are offensive to the person in seat next to theirs. They don’t care that they look like little kids who just rolled out of bed. They don’t care that their clothes are too small, not color coordinated and wrinkled. They really don’t care that you care either!

Of course, this is not true for all men. Some men insist on looking stylish even when on vacation. Hats off to those men! The rest…well…it seems that for them a vacation is a vacation from nice looking clothes too. And really, on second thought – is that so bad? Maybe wearing soft cheap t-shirts is part of their fun. They’re certainly comfortable. Who wants to worry about things like creases or even stains when relaxing?

The only thing that people are unwilling to tolerate though is the hairy armpits. So men…when it’s time to travel…buy yourself plenty of t-shirts and polo shirts for those moments when you must ride on airplanes or trains. Other than that you can go ahead and wear whatever you want on vacation!
