T-Shirts and Jeans - What a Great Pair!

Wednesday 14th of December 2011 06:00:38 PM

T-Shirts and Jeans - What a Great Pair!Jeans are worn in all ways as anyone walking the streets of a big city will notice. Generally speaking though, women wear stylish jeans that fit well and are the foundation of outfits relying on blouses, t-shirts, jewelry and fashionable shoes to create personal style. You almost never see a woman wearing jeans that are sagging in the rear. You can’t say that about men though.

Men and blue jeans go together like a hand and glove and yet it’s obvious men don’t take jeans seriously. They wear them any old way with polo shirts or t-shirts and really don’t pay much attention to how they look or how they are worn. Jeans are worn with holes, stains, tears, and white crease marks that a woman would find embarrassing. Too big or too small? Too saggy or too tight? That doesn’t seem to bother a man at all.

Fashion designers have made serious efforts to help men overcome jean offenses. What men don’t realize is that it’s actually possible to look foolish in a pair of jeans. That would be a great surprise to many men who think the words “jeans” and “fashion” should never be used in the same sentence. Men who wear light blue jeans that don’t fit well look like throwbacks to the past. Designers are now creating plain dark blue jeans that fit men’s bodies well in yet another attempt to help men with their jean wardrobes.

Will it work? Actors like Harrison Ford who is slim and handsome at the age of 67 are good role models. He wears nicely fitting jeans in movies and in his personal life. His jeans never look like they were first worn in the 1970s and they never have bleached out creases. So pay attention men! Jeans are “cool” but only if you wear the right jeans.
