That’s why actress-designer Lindsay Lohan added leggings to her line of clothing. Leggings are turning into big business and that is exactly why Lohan has decided to expand her ready-to-wear leggings line called 6126.
Lohan has discovered her name sells clothes. The leggings will be manufactured by DNAM Apparel of Los Angeles. DNAM Apparel has been interested in expanding its apparel line while including more feminine clothing. The leggings with the 6126 label fits the company’s goals perfectly.
As for 6126 LLC, the company is planning on offering additional clothing items that will go with leggings. For example, there will be blazers, dresses, and a variety of tops including tees. The clothing line appeals to young contemporary and will the same lace used in the leggings. The leggings are being sold already at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and several other major department stores.
Some people have questioned how involved Lindsey Lohan is as a designer. The 6126 company has said that Lohan is a hands-on designer and not just a famous person lending her name to a product. Lohan has worked closely with company designers to develop a product with broad appeal to contemporary women. The principal of 6126, Kristi Kaylor, said, “She’s (Lohan) intimately involved from Day One. She picks fabrics. She looks at trims. She picks buttons. She doesn’t let anything to into production without trying it on.”
