According to Jane Schoenborn of Lilly Pulitzer, “Turquoise is universally appealing. It puts everyone in the same state of mind – on vacation.” Tommy Hilfiger likes turquoise too and sees it as a color that reminds people of the beach or the sunny Southwest.

In 2010 you can expect to see turquoise in everything from tees to dresses. Turquoise will also be used in home décor and jewelry. It will be used in stripe combinations, sportswear and even eye shadow. Turquoise is even being used in cookware made by Le Creuset.

Fashion designers like the color turquoise because it can be used in all season clothes too. Turquoise will pair with black as well as it does with white. So get ready to see lots of turquoise in the next year.
