You could buy Italian dancewear-styled sportswear at Topshop or buy leotards and plain t-shirts. Either way your personal style will be a reflection of your effort and clothing choices. But Topshop has decided that it will sell a fashion line that reflects dance and fashion for those who want their clothing to reflect high end design while including the fluidity of movement. The fashion industry has mixed design and dance before but the current fashion line is an exclusive brand that mixes dance and fitness wear to create a new sportswear line.

The brand label “Freddy” has created a new line of sportswear that combines trendy fashion with practical design and materials. Bringing the “Art of Movement to the High Street” means Freddy is introducing a unique collection to be sold exclusively by the UK company Topshop. The collection includes 7 pieces that can be mixed and matched and dress up or dressed down depending on the season. The line uses fabrics not often selected for fitness wear including jersey and soft chenille. Even the colours are unusual and include grey, mauve, and fuchsia.

The fabrics used in the clothing line were chosen because they flatter any figure when worn. The clothing line also includes detailing that sets it apart from other sportswear brands. The Freddy line by the Italian company has been designing fashion, dancewear, and fitness wear for over 33 years. The new line is called “trans seasonal” because the clothing pieces can be worn for year round simply by adding accessories and mixing and matching pieces. Freddy has supplied official wear to the Royal Ballet and the Italian Olympic team. The new line will be available in Topshop stores in September.
