A new and exciting market developing in the world of promotional clothing is the fundraiser. Organizations from the local school PTA to large corporations are in need of tees to bring in money for their causes.

T-shirts are comfortable, trendy, and very cost effective. These factors make them an excellent choice for fundraising material. With one item you get something everyone wants at a price point that can be adapted to bring in money for the organization while still being affordable to the consumer.

T-shirts bring attention to organizations and their causes. For example, a local flower shop might choose to sell pink Relay for Life t-shirts. They would develop these tees with a promotional clothing company to include the Relay for Life information, their own logo and business information, and anything else pertinent to the cause. The tee could be sold in the shop to raise money, sold at the event, and worn by the walkers during the event for identification.

This tee’s lifespan will not end on the day of the race. Since t-shirts are a huge part of our national uniform participants in the race and others who purchased a tee will proudly wear their shirts for a long time to come. Not only will cancer research benefit, the flower shop will get free advertising every time someone wears their shirt.

And, t-shirts are just the beginning. Fundraiser sales can include the hottest selling item of the moment with young adults, teens, and children – hoodies. They can also sell sweaters, caps, sweat suits and much more with a silk screened or embroidered logo.

Organizations may find that t-shirt fundraisers are so successful they choose to hold one every year, each year’s tee becoming a collector’s item. While it may sound far-fetched it happens quite frequently and shows the power and popularity of a simple t-shirt.
