T-Shirts Are Always Trendy

T-shirts and polo shirts are always trendy. If you don’t think so, then consider how many people in the US stood in line at the new Topshop store opening in New York. In the UK the Topshop is an icon store that prides itself on serving up style like an exotic dish that you customize to your tastes.

The new Topshop opened in Manhattan in New York City, and it sells a number of pricey items from dresses to black leggings to sunglasses. The theory of the Topshop fashion line is that fashion needs to be constantly updated. The store has staff members called “style advisors”, and they help customers create their own unique look. A lot of the fashion style relies on layering of a variety of garments.

That is where plain t-shirts or black t-shirts can be used to help achieve the desired look, and they don’t have to be expensive to be “cool” or trendy. The people in line at Topshop stood in the rain to buy paid shifts, flowered shirts, white shift dresses and jeans. Topshop wants people to try new and unusual looks that are outside their comfort zone. The store wants people to develop their own personal style and have some fun while doing it. In many of the outfits assembled with a variety of garments you will find plain t-shirts, printed t-shirts, sleeveless tank tops, and long sleaved t-shirts.

Another feature found in Topshop ensembles is colour and lots of it. Yellow polka dots are mixed with navy pinstripes. A simple red sleeveless t-shirt is worn under a blue strapless floral sundress.

For those consumers who regretted not being able to attend the Topshop store opening in Manhattan, but want to duplicate the style, a great place to begin is with trendy t-shirts. From there you just start to layer and layer and layer until you look in the mirror and decide, “Hey…I look really cool!”
