The buzz word in business this year is branding. Branding your company gets your name in the public eye and makes it the first thing that comes to mind when a consumer needs your services. There are many, many different ways to brand your company. Print advertising, media advertising, and other traditional methods continue to prove successful. One new marketing trick is the use of promotional clothing to aid in branding your company.
Promotional clothing consists of t-shirts, sweats, hoodies, sweaters, and other items with your company’s name and logo embroidered or screened on the front. Employers purchase the shirts and give them to their employees to wear.
While at work your employees will look professional, clean, and sharp. You can choose different colors for different areas of your company’s structure or let your workers choose their own colors.
Once your employees leave work for the day they will continue to get you some free advertising. Studies show that the majority of workers run errands either on the way to work or on the way home from work. Every place they stop will be one more place to get your logo and name in the public eye.
Does this sound like word of mouth advertising? Well, it basically is. People don’t have to ask where your employees work, they can see it for themselves. Visuals are well known to produce a far more lasting image than a vocal cue.
Whether you have a small self-owned business with 2 employees or are the manager of a large corporation, t-shirts, sweats, and hoodies with your company name and logo are a fantastic choice. You may pay at the outset for the polo shirts or t-shirts but just think of all the free advertising you will be getting!
