Clariant Makes New Dyes For All Clothing Including T-Shirts

In the textile industry there is always ongoing research dedicated to developing new dyes and chemicals for colouring clothes. Advances in technology have made it possible to produce new shadings while also increasing the lasting power of colour in clothes. This is important if clothes are to be colour fast through multiple washings which also increases their “green power”. What this means is that the longer the colour stays fresh looking the more likely the clothes will be worn for many wearings. This is good for the environment because it reduces dependence on fast fashion.

Clariant is a leader in textile chemicals and dye research. The company has recently announced several new colours and shades we can expect to see in all types of clothing including Wholesale T-Shirts. The new dyes are called Foron Black AS-3LF and Foron Dark blue S-WF. The black dye is considered to be a high light-fast and hot light-fast black. It is characterized by low fading in light. The dark blue was developed to fill in a gap in the colour spectrum. It is a base colour to be used to create dark blue and navy blue colours.

Clariant also created other new products which can be used for wool colouring and have been declared to be state of the art in wet fastness. This industry lingo describes the ability of the dyes to hold up under many washings, perspiring bodies, and when subjected to frequent wet conditions. This is important for both creating a product that will be used many times and for developing clothing items which stay nice through even the most difficult conditions.

The new wet fastness products are called the Nylosan S range and the colours in these new products also fill in colour spaces on the existing dye colour chart. The new Nylosan colours are orange, red and navy. Clariant is always working diligently to develop versatile new products and has become an industry leader in the textile dyes and chemicals market.
