Levi Jeans and Artistic T-Shirts

Levi Jeans is producing a new line of jeans called the Damien Hirst X Levis. The jeans are limited edition clothing which will be matched with t-shirts and other items containing the special artistry of Damien Hirst. Hirst is known for creating interesting work which revolves around skulls, spots or butterflies.

The tees are white, black or deep purple. They will display the unusual artistry of the British artist Hirst who is well known around the world. The Levi collection of Hirst inspired clothing is a limited edition offering centering on the black and over-dye blue Levi’s 501 jeans and the special artistic t-shirts. This is the second year that Levi’s has collaborated with the artist Hirst to create these unusual designs.

The complete collection includes jeans, t-shirts, and denim and leather jackets and a variety of girls clothing. The girls clothing is bright and colourful and reminiscent of the Hirst Spin paintings. A hoodie, jacket and t-shirt can be matched with girl’s jeans to make a contemporary and interesting look.

Mr. Hirst said, "I love the idea of art you can wear.“

Agnes Tann is the Levi’s brand strategic planner. She said, "World renowned artists from Peter Blake and Max Ernst to Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol all adopted the Levi's jeans as their favorite jeans. So, we are naturally thrilled and honored to have a creative genius like Damien Hirst bring his unique perspective to our iconic 501 jeans and the range of unique looks created for this collection."

The Levi’s limited edition collection will be sold globally.

Many people do not know that Pablo Picasso adopted the Levi Jeans as the clothing to wear while creating his masterpieces. He is said to be the first world-renowned artist to wear the jeans.
