Jessica Simpson’s T-Shirt Nightmare

Monday 23rd of June 2008 05:53:08 PM

Jessica Simpson’s T-Shirt NightmareJessica Simpson has once again proven that she may not be the brightest light bulb in the box. She is currently under fire from PETA after she was photographed wearing a T-Shirt with “Real Girls Eat Meat” across the front. The controversy arose immediately and PETA has deemed her a “stupid girl.” The group even went on further to say, “Maybe the meat-eaters of the world will be embarrassed to be categorized in the same field as Jessica Simpson.”

PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. After seeing Jessica’s T-shirt, they came up with a list of “top five reasons that only stupid girls brag about eating meat.” OK! Magazine has stated that the activist group has stated, “Jessica Simpson’s meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken-of-the-Sea, anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo ‘wings’ came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food.”

It has been claimed that Jessica Simpson wore the meaty T-Shirt in order to have mad fun at her beau’s, Tony Romo, ex-girlfriend Carrie Underwood. Carrie Underwood has twice been named the World’s Sexiest Vegetarian by PETA.

A close source to Jessica Simpson has stated, “Jessica is sick of hearing about how Tony still has feelings for Carrie. She’s obviously trying to poke fun at her rival and let her know who really has Tony’s heart.”

In any case, what you wear on your T-shirt could come back and haunt you, no matter how fun you thought it was originally. Jessica Simpson is a perfect example that you should think before you wear. Whilst her T-Shirt faux pas will fade over time, her stigma for not being very smart will not. Whether she means to appear stupid is still open for debate. Hopefully she will learn from this nightmare and make changes in the future.
