A T-Shirt Contest to Improve the Environment

Wednesday 19th of March 2008 11:03:53 PM

A T-Shirt Contest to Improve the EnvironmentIn the city of Cincinnati, United States, the metro department is holding a t-shirt contest called, Everybody Rides Metro T-shirt Contest. The contest is to raise money for new hybrid metro buses. Hybrid vehicles do not emit harmful pollutants into the air like other vehicles do, which keeps the environment healthy.

The message these individuals will need to convey on the shirts is environmental responsibility. The designs, wording and anything else on the shirt will have to help people understand and make people aware of the benefits of making changes for a greener world. The winner of the contest will have his or her design featured on shirts and other apparel for sale in the community and on the Internet. The winner will also receive a Visa gift card for $100, which the person can use anywhere that accepts Visa.

In major cities like Cincinnati, it's good to know that they are making strides in improving the air that everyone breathes. If everyone made one small change to improve the environment, we would all be able to live in a less smog filled and healthier world.
