Pedestrians and cyclists fear no more, there is now a hoodie with turn signals. You will no longer have to use your hand signals in the midst of traffic. Simply use your turn signals on your hoodie and you are on your way to safe walking and riding.

TCritic.com has this hoodie featured on its blog. Leah Buechley along with SparkFun created the signals placed on a hoodie using "LilyPad wearable e-textile technology". You can see the system that goes into making the arrows light up on the site. This electronic system is sewable and washable, which means it is possible for placement on most clothing items.
