Earth Hour – Spread the Word with T-Shirts

The brisbanetimes.com.au reports that the World Wildlife Fund of Australia has launched some cool t-shirts to help with the new campaign, Earth Hour. The campaign has named this t-shirt, "Earth Hour".

The Wildlife Fund of Australia helps protect the unique plants and animals across the world. Due to pollution and other negative effects on the environment, the organisation hopes to help people make a difference and save the habitats of animals.

The organisation wants to spread the word with t-shirts that on March 29th between 8PM and 9PM all lights, electronics and unneeded appliances should be turned off. The focus is to help people realize that simply turning off unneeded items can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These gas emissions are detrimental to the environment and especially to the plants and animals that this foundation cares about.

These shirts are black and made of cotton for comfort. The front has the Earth Hour '60' logo with the WWF panda bear logo. On the back of the shirt, 'See your world in a whole new light' is printed with the day, time, and web address for the campaign.

You can purchase this shirt at the www.earthhour.org/tshirt website for AUD$29.95. UK residents will have to pay an extra AUD$20 for shipping.
