When teams take time and effort to do a little something to support charity, they are making a difference in many lives. Sports teams are popular and fans everywhere want something they can say belonged to their favourite team. Because of this, an Australian cricket team has decided to support the Flying Doctors charity again this year.IndiaTimes Cricket reports that Australians are starting their 17th Test victory on Wednesday. t-shirts are going to be worn for the 80th birthday to commemorate Royal Flying Doctor Service. This event will be a great way for the team to take part in a charity organisation.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service is Cricket Australia’s charity partner. At the end of the game, the players will sign these shirts. The signings will be done at the WACA ground and will be donated to the RFDS.
The RFDS will then auction the shirts off to raise money for charity. The charity will be for Flying Doctors. Flying Doctors provide services to Aussies at all times of the day and night. This way Aussies get the treatment that they need no matter when they become ill or injured.
Many of the spokespersons find that it is impressive that the Australian cricket team is sponsoring such a great event. The cricket team has been sponsoring the Flying Doctors for two years and has always made it a successful. They hope that the auction is as much of a win as it has been in the past.
