Rihanna & Timbaland Join in AIDS Campaign at H&M

Friday 11th of January 2008 02:43:56 PM

Rihanna & Timbaland Join in AIDS Campaign at H&MMany times the most effective campaigns are led by singers and other celebrities. Since these celebrities are already popular across the world they have influence on the people of the world. In this, case they have influence on what people choose to wear and support. Celebrities who choose to support a cause like the AIDS Campaign make a great impact on the success of the promotion. Another good thing about celebrities making an effort in charity is that it shows that they have time to make some money for these causes. Everyone wins in this situation; the celebrities help the charity and are recognised for it which increases their success.

For the H&M campaign, PR-Inside.com reported that Rihanna and Timbaland designed t-shirts for H&M that will be hosting a Fashion Against AIDS campaign. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from these t-shirts will be donated to HIV/AIDS research. Many other music groups have joined in on the campaign as well. The Cardigans, Rufus Wainwright, Good Charlotte and Ziggy Marly have made their own designs for the campaign at H&M. All of these shirts will be available in the H&M stores in February.
