The New York Times reports that small business owner and entrepreneur Tina Ericson is ready to launch her new t-shirts called, Mamaisms. Each shirt will have motherly advice, motherly statements and environmental messages that will appeal to women around the world. Ericson believes that her t-shirts are going to be a great success due to the quality of the fabric and the messages they convey.

You will be able to buy many different styles of t-shirts each with a saying like, ‘Watch your mouth’. The t-shirts have been delivered from Turkey and have been printed with these sayings. Ericson says the t-shirts have been printed and are ready to go on her website. Ericson is not new to the small business world; she works out of her home as a consultant for internet marketing. She has been working to increase her firm and has recently partnered up with others to start up the larger firm which they will call Shout Option Marketing.

Some believe that Ericson’s projections are too high and she is setting herself up for failure. She hopes to make $100,000 in the coming year and eventually make a million off these t-shirts . She has already spent $35,000 in getting the t-shirts manufactured. Critics say that she may be setting her earnings a little too high and that many businesses do not make it past two years.
