New Zealand Based Company to Launch Merino T-shirt Line

After returning home from the bi-annual MAGIC Marketplace fashion show held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, where they launched a new line of T-Shirts made from Merino wool, New Zealand based tika Limited is already producing shirts to fill holiday orders in both the US and New Zealand through their new website.

“We were thrilled with the retail response to our line of 100% merino t-shirts designed and manufactured in New Zealand. We came back from Las Vegas and immediately went into production to fill holiday orders for U.S. retail stores. Local demand for tika merino t-shirts also led us to launch an online retail store specifically for New Zealand customers,” said Barbara Anderson, Managing Director of tika.

The company, which specialises in clothing made from Merino wool, has created a line of T-Shirts that are durable, breathable, and appropriate for cool and warm weather. Their new website, which is being used exclusively to take orders from those living in New Zealand, will help increase awareness of the new shirts as having recently participated in the Wool On Awards parade held in Alexandria, New Zealand. Being able to sell the shirts in the US retail market can only increase the brands popularity, especially with the holiday shopping season, which will be in full swing by the end of next month.
