T-shirt Company Atomic Madhouse Supplies Shirts For Emmy Awards

Giving away free gifts to those performers nominated for an Emmy at awards show in Los Angeles, California, USA is a tradition that showcases one or two clothing designers each year. This year, Atomic Madhouse, whose line of comic book sound effects T-Shirts, was chosen to be included in gift bags handed out at the awards.

"This is really exciting for Atomic Madhouse, especially to be selected exclusively for our designer T-Shirts. Our most popular line is the comic book sound effects T-shirts. We designed the words 'AAARRGGHH', 'BLAMM', and 'KPOWW' in a faded retro comic book style font and silk screened it askew on the shirt. Everyone who sees them cracks a smile,” said Frank Forte, co-founder and designer of Atomic Madhouse.

Each nominee who doesn’t win receives men’s and women’s sized T-Shirts, which are printed on American Apparel t-shirts. "We wanted to mix it up so some of the T-shirts bear the AAARRGGH! Designs and others bear the BLAMM! Design. They each come in a variety of colours,” explains Elizabeth J. Musgrave, co-founder and designer.
