T-shirts that Support Good Mental Health

Friday 07th of September 2007 02:06:25 AM

T-shirts that Support Good Mental HealthThe Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand is planning to launch a line of T-Shirts next month to raise awareness and funds for the organisation. Working with designer label The Hinitiative, four designs will be available for men and women with slogans promoting mental health and the benefits of talking about it with others.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to get our message that mental health is everybody’s business out to a wider audience through these funky designs and to raise money for our cause at the same time,” said Mental Health Foundation Fundraising Manager Ruth Button.

All T-Shirts are made from 100% cotton and were not made in sweatshops. Protecting the environment and promoting a fair and safe workplace lead to a better quality of life and better mental health. “It is a fantastic opportunity for the public to buy a great looking t-shirt while at the same time, raising money for the Mental Health Foundation and awareness about mental health,” said Hinitiative director, Li Ling Ng.

The shirts will be available online and in select stores in New Zealand. While children’s shirts are not yet available, they may be in the future.
