Crocs To Expand Its Offerings

Crocs, the popular clog-like shoe made of a perforated closed-cell resin called Croslite, is worn by many children and adults who want a comfortable shoe that makes a statement. The company is hoping the popularity of the shoe will help them as they get ready to launch a new line of T-Shirts and other apparel.

The new clothing in the Crocs collection will include Croslite rt, which is woven into cotton and other materials to help protect the skin from UV rays, sweat, and harsh chemicals found in the air. According to the company, the new clothing will be "lightweight, versatile, breathable and durable," and resistant to, "harsh chemicals and heat, ensuring longevity after exposure to sun, UV light and sweat.”

The company already has a line of graphic T-Shirts, and ponchos for men and women and hopes to break into the children’s market with their new line. Men’s and women’s clothing will also be manufactured.

The clothing line should be released next month and includes a variety of options for men, women, and children. Women’s tops include portals for headphones so they can worn easily without distracting the wearer. Children’s clothing includes pants, T-Shirts, and skirts while the men’s line includes both long-sleeved and short-sleeved shirts.
