New t-shirts with vintage logos and designs are in demand by those who are looking for original shirts to wear during the day and in the evening. T-Shirts are like jeans — just when you think there's nothing new you can do, they keep reinventing themselves and looking fresh and new. It won't quit, it won't stop. People have the biggest appetite for them. Today's Ts have gone way beyond the basic T. They've entered the evening arena, the socially conscious arena — they've infiltrated every part of our wardrobes." said fashion market editor of InStyle, Toby Tucker.Since authentic vintage T-Shirts are usually stained or worn with age, many consumers don't want to buy them. They will, however, purchase new shirts that have similar designs to those that appeared on older T-Shirts. "I think the thing with our 'vintage' is that we wanted to find the real beauty of the old days when the logo wasn't so much about the hype but more about a cool design," said Chip Foster, co-owner of Chip and Pepper, a t-shirt design company.
Wearing T-Shirts in a new way by pairing them with skirts, wearing fitted t-shirts to the office under a jacket, and wearing higher quality shirts to evening social events has also helped increase the popularity of vintage looking T-Shirts.
