The Icebox, a promotional clothing and product company located in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, recently expanded include a new division called ‘Common Threads’. The idea behind the new division is to donate T-Shirts and other items used for charity walks, benefits, and other events that help raise money for various causes. The Lance Armstrong Foundation and the American Heart Associations have already received items they can use to bring awareness of cancer and heart disease.Another charity who benefited from promotional items from the company was the Atlanta Community Food Bank, who provides food and other supplies to those who cannot afford food costs. "Every year The Icebox gives the Hunger Walk/Run a fresh look with their creative, unique items. They are so easy to work with and we thank them for their continued support of all our programs at the Food Bank,” said Leslie Hamilton, who is the director of the food bank’s walk/run for hunger charity event.
The company is also environmentally conscious and produces a line of clothing that is made from organic materials. Supporting local and national charities by supplying promotional items such as T-Shirts can help charities cut down their costs so more money can be given directly to those who are in need.
The Icebox recently supplied clothing and other items for The Lance Armstrong Foundation golf tournament. They sent company representatives to the event to help out with the sales of the items. The company also helped the Atlanta Community Food Bank with a luncheon by providing materials and clothing for those who attended.
