For UK football fans who want a retro looking t-shirt featuring their favourite football player, uploading an image or choosing from a gallery of over 700 hundred shirts is now possible on RetroFootballTshirts web site. The company features the images of famous players including Kevin Keegan and Charlie George. Owner and founder, James Garley, said he founded the company as a way for fans to order T-Shirts that cannot be found anywhere else.

I got the idea to set this site up as my sister’s boyfriend is a big Spurs fan and he said ‘I’d love a Steve Archibald T-shirt, that would be so great, a retro type T-shirt. You’d never find one though.’ So I made him one! He loved it so I thought…’Well if he loves this so much, surely other people would love retro T-Shirts of their favourite players and for their favourite teams?’”, said Garley.

T-shirts are manufactured by Fruit of the Loom and Hanes. If fans cannot find an image of their favourite player, they can send a picture to the web site and a shirt will printed and shipped. “The ‘Dream Team’ T-Shirts are something extra to the hundreds of T-shirts we currently stock. Every football fan has their own opinion and has a side that they think would be world-beaters. We’re giving them the chance to pick that side and then we’ll put the team on a t-shirt for them and let them show the world! There is no limit to the side that they can pick – it could be an England XI or a Macclesfield Town XI – we can cater for any team and any players!” said Garley.

One of the best features is the ability to print football players from the past because the chances of finding T-Shirts with those images are them are slim.
