Super Cyclist Lance Armstrong Debuts New Gear

In the years since Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer and undergone treatment, he has raised money through his charity the Lance Armstrong Foundation by manufacturing LiveStrong bracelets and donating his time to charity events. Now, he is partnering with Nike Apparel to create a line of women’s exercise clothing that bears the LiveStrong logo. T-Shirts, pants, track jackets, hats, and shoes are just some of the many clothing options women will have. All proceeds will go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Since over 55 million bracelets have been purchased since 2004, the clothing line is expected to be just as popular. Money raised with go toward cancer research, funding recovery programs, and making people more aware of different types of cancer. Education others is one of the best ways to help prevent and detect cancer early. Since one out three women will suffer from some type of cancer, buying clothing the benefits the Lance Armstrong Foundation is one way to help others who are suffering.

Armstrong was diagnosed with testicular cancer when he was just 25. Through cancer treatments, diet and exercise, and willpower, he was able to rid cancer from his life. It important to remember that cancer can affect people at any age. Since most people need exercise and outerwear apparel, buying T-Shirts whose proceeds will go to a good cause is a small, but powerful way to contribute.
