John Diener, the owner of Endoborn, a shop that sells printed T-Shirts with religious slogans and pictures, started the company last year with another born-again Christian because of the T-Shirts on the market were too religious. "It appeared that the majority of apparel was being produced for Christians were overzealous T-shirts preaching expressions that may push away non-believers rather than attract,"said Diener. In an effort to compromise, his company manufactures religious tees that are a little less subtle. This strategy has been paying off so far. The T-Shirts include one or two words praising God or religious pictures that are more like artwork than religious statements.
Following the trend of Christian rock, Diener said, “"Over the past 10 years, a new era of bands have emerged, drawing in non-Christian listeners by writing songs with an under-the-surface Christian message. As Christian music has evolved, we have set out to evolve with it by displaying a unique adjacent style. This apparel is for people that have lost their faith either through tragedies, bad choices, or have already been born-again and simply want to celebrate it."
By not preaching to others about religion, but rather expressing the faith that one has, the T-Shirts as well as Christian religions have become more accepted.
"Our customers are intelligent, positive, and live their lives with greater meaning. We offer a variety of opportunities for all to demonstrate and communicate cultural enrichment. We’re a movement, an inspiration for those everywhere to never lose sight of their dreams, and above all, to help inspire a belief in God," said Diener.
T-Shirts are available in long and short sleeves and in various colors.
