Predicting a WinnerThis Sunday is the Super bowl, the game for American football fans in the United States. Making T-Shirts and other merchandise that feature the winners of the game will be a challenge for a small screen printing company in Charleston, Illinois, USA. They will be begin printing shortly after the game is called and will not stop until they have reached their quota. The company must fill this large order within two day so the distribution company that hired them can ship out the Tees to fans and others who want to own a piece of history.

Commonly called, ‘hot market’ printing, small printing companies that can immediately fill large orders are in demand. Gavina Graphics, the company that was chosen to fill this year’s order will have twenty employees working from the end of the game until early Monday morning trying to fill the order. Co-owner Bridget Johnson said of this amazing task, “It’s a rush.”

While the printing company seems to have everything under control, they cannot control when the game will officially end and when a winner is announced. They will have to wait until they have positive confirmation of who the winner is. Having done this type of work before, Co-owner Kirby Johnson said, “There’s a certain amount of pride that goes along with the working under that kind of pressure.”

As a result of this publicity, Gavina Printing has received other requests for similar ‘hot market’ printing jobs that are within their region of the country. Their team, the Chicago Bears, will be playing in the super bowl, which first prompted the t-shirt distributor to find local regional printing companies that could handle orders on such short notice.

T-Shirts will be available in major retail stores across the country as well as local stores in Illinois, USA.
