Surf Expo Hold Design Competition

This year Surf Expo is holding a T-Shirt design competition for the next Surf Expo show T-Shirt. Surf Expo is a trade show for the board, fashion and beach industries where all retailers and manufactures from these areas can meet. This year Surf Expo is being held at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando in Florida from January 11 to 14. The Surf Expo trade show was started thirty two years ago and since then the show has been selling T-Shirts to its attendees and exhibitors to help promote the show and their brand. Many of the people who attend Surf Expo collect the T-Shirts and keep them afterwards as a collection. The visitors can be very excited about the next t-shirt that is unveiled. The Show Director Lori Kisner explains why they decided to create this competition for the next great Surf Expo t-shirt "We have the best T-Shirtdesigners in the industry right here at our show, so we thought, ‘why not create an opportunity for a little friendly competition and provide our attendees a great t-shirt design too?’”

The winner of the Surf Expo will have their name publicised at the trade show and online. They will also be given a free t-shirt of their design. The design requirements are that the Surf Expo's logo must be included and the show dates of January 11-14, 2007. The designer can choose the colour of the shirt, where the artwork is placed and the choice of images. Their January T-Shirts for the show are normally one hundred per cent cotton, long sleeved and the designs are usually printed in two to three colours. The designs towards the competition may be submitted by a company that is exhibiting at the show, and or an individual who works within the t-shirt industry.
