People in Colorado are watching the flakes fall and getting ready for a white Christmas. Whereas other areas in America are experiencing a muggy December day where the thermometer is reaching 80. Many people are receiving Christmas jumpers as presents but they may not have a chance to wear them, or the other winter sweaters and alternative items of Christmas clothing, all of which are designed for cold snowy weather. We may have to get used to the fact that soon we will be opening our presents with the air conditioning and fans running instead of beside a roaring fire.
A few people have suggested that someone should to design Christmas styled clothes that are suitable for warm weather. The way that the climate is changing it seems we may need T-Shirts and shorts designed with holly and Santa images instead of sweaters with reindeer and snowflakes. Hawaiian T-Shirts printed with poinsettias instead of flowers could make big sales as folks shop for Christmas wear that they can actually wear without sweating profusely. Christmas doesn't feel the same for us when we have warm weather during the holidays. This may be something however that we have to get used to as global warming is slowly affecting our Christmases and Christmas cards featuring snow may soon be a thing of the past. Late December many states and other countries will not be fitting the classic Christmas card image this year and some people may have only seen snow once in their lifetime at Christmas. People rushing around towns to do their last minute Christmas shopping are more likely to be seen wearing T-Shirts and shorts than wrapped up in coats and scarves. The warm weather does have some advantages at Christmas. A child who receives a bicycle from Father Christmas can ride outside on Christmas morning instead of having to wait until the warmer weather in the spring.
