Stock System Software Upgrade

Due to a software upgrade occurring today, any orders placed containing non-express items will be delayed by an extra 1-2 working days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Any items marked as express items are not affected and will still be dispatched in the normal 1-2 days.

Additional Security

To improve security for customers making credit card payments by Visa or MasterCard we have trialing additional security measures. We have added MasterCard securecode and verified by visa. These systems are operated by the credit card companies and work like on line versions of “chip and pin”. Having tested the systems for a month we believe that the systems benefit customers. These systems will now be a permanent feature on the www.polo-shirts.co.uk.

Both systems require a code to be input. Giving out a code over the phone would compromise customer security. We are therefore unable to accept credit card payments over the telephone.

Limited Stock on Northquay Polo Shirts

Our Northquay range of polo-shirts has been enormously successful. Demand for this product has constantly outstripped supply. Due to Peter Mandelsons about turn and the sudden imposition of Quota in 2005 we have had to find another production source able to meet our requirements in quality and price. We thought we had found the right supplier but due unsatisfactory quality standards we had to reject a delivery from a new supplier in September 2006. This means that stock remains limited on Northquay for the foreseable future. The closest substitute for the Northquay polyester cotton is the UCC Polo-shirt.

New Wholesale Sweat Shirt Range Extended

The sweatshirt section has now been extended. Our new range includes great value polyester cotton men’s sweats from UCC and heavy weight sweatshirts from Gildan. Stocks on the Stedman budget sweatshirt are limited as we are discontinuing this style.

Quayside Office Move Improves Customer Service

The Quayside Group moved their office and warehouses on July 2nd from their Manchester City centre location to a combined office and distribution centre. The new location is already benefiting customers. According to Quayside Director Debra Hutchings "We have been able to increase our stock levels by 30%. Having more goods here ready to dispatch has greatly improved the speed at which we are able to get orders out. Customers are already noticing the difference”. The new offices and distribution centre offers a improvements for customers as well a better working environment for employees.

Quayside Group Going From Strength to Strength

Track your order On-line Delivery tracking

Need to know where your order is ?

We have now added online tracking for orders weighing over 1.25 kilos*.

By integrating with our couriers systems customers can see the location of their order.

Once an order has been dispatched, customers can log into their accounts and check the status of their order or click in the link sent with the dispatch notification e-mail.

Faster delivery on orders paid by cheque

We are making delivery faster on orders paid by cheque. Normally we would have to wait up to 10 days for cheques to clear.

The latest instant cheque clearance technology has now been added to our payment system. Cheques are now processed on receipt. The majority receive immediate clearance reducing the delivery times on orders paid by cheque by 7 days.
