Products, Quality and Prices
We sell first rate brand quality merchandise from companies such as Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Regatta, Ping, Stedman, Jt's, Gildan and Northquay.
How do you keep your prices so low?
We do not have shops, we buy our polo-shirts, t-shirts and sweatshirts and other items in high volume and supply direct to businesses.
Why do your prices exclude VAT?
Polo-shirts.co.uk is a wholesale site normally selling to businesses. When selling to businesses it is normal to quote prices excluding VAT. If you want to check the cost of your order including VAT please select your products and proceed to the checkout. Before payment is taken you will be quoted the full order cost including VAT and delivery.
We try and give as much information about sizing as possible. Below the picture of each product is a "size information" button. Clicking this will give you relevant information about the product. As we supply products from different manufacturers sizes do vary from product to product. Please note that the sizing information we provide is to be used as a guide only and there may be some variation.
Colours?
Colours may vary on the product from what is shown on screen due to various factors such as monitor calibration. The colours shown are a guide only.
Delivery
Please can you explain your delivery charges?
We are different to most online companies.
We are a wholesale business selling our products in bulk. Our delivery charge is a flat rate irrespective of the order quantity or how it is delivered. If the order is 1 or 10,000 the delivery charge is still the same.
For most UK addresses we charge a flat £5 however for some areas such as Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland delivery is £10.

Why are shipping charges higher in Northern Ireland and certain other parts of UK ?
We dispatch high volumes of t-shirts, polo-shirts, sweatshirts and other items throughout the UK by royal mail and courier. The cost of sending large packages to Northern Ireland, parts of Scotland (for a list of these areas please see below) and certain other areas are higher for us than mainland UK. In these cases where possible we use the royal mail to minimise the delivery charge. If you live in one of these areas the delivery system will notify you during the order process.
We offer delivery to the following postcodes by Royal Mail. An additional delivery charge may apply.

What happens if no one is available to accept delivery?
For items sent by courier - if there is no one available to accept the delivery, the courier will leave a card saying that delivery has been attempted. The courier will attempt delivery once more. If they are unable to deliver the goods a second time, the items will be held in depot for 3 days before returning the goods to ourselves. If you require delivery to be attempted a third time you will be charged £6.95 + VAT for delivery. If a change of address is required after an attempted non-delivery you will be charged £6.95 + VAT per package.
How long do you take to deliver?
Normally within a few days. We hold high levels of stock in our warehouse. Sometimes a high level of orders on a particular size or colour may take us out of stock for a few days. If you want to the check delivery time on a particular item please e-mail us at info@polo-shirts.co.uk. Please tell us the item colour and sizes required.
We are able to deliver to the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Spain, UK & Channel Islands.
We are a UK based company. Currently we are unable to offer delivery to customers based in the USA

Yes. We would be delighted to send you a sample. Simply select the product you require and proceed through checkout. If you are not entirely happy with the item. Simply return it for a full refund (excluding delivery charge)

Security
Using your credit card to make purchases via our web site is a secure way to pay for your goods.
We have put a number of security steps in place to give you, the customer, total confidence when purchasing through the Internet:
11a. All sensitive information, including personal details as well as credit card information, is encrypted through the use of our secure server software (SSL). This means that information can only be exchanged between you and us, and that no third party can access this data. You will see a padlock symbol on the bottom right of your browser shows which pages are covered by this security system. The URLS of secure pages also start with the prefix https://
11b. All historical information regarding credit card details is held on a payment providers secure server. We do not retain live records of customer personal details or credit card information on our web servers after the transaction has been completed (i.e. you will need to enter your details each time you order over the Internet).
Payment Methods
What payment methods do you offer?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, Paypal and Google Checkout.
We also accept company cheques, however personal cheques will only be accepted if there is a valid cheque guarantee card number written on the back of the cheque.
For export orders we accept bank transfers. We do not accept American Express.
We use the Transax service, provided by Certegy Ltd, to authorise your cheque. We will pass them details of your cheque. If your cheque is subsequently returned unpaid, we will inform Certegy and also provide them with your name and address. Certegy will record this information and use it to decide whether to authorise your present and future cheques. Certegy may share their information with a Credit Reference Agency and the subscribers to that Credit Reference Agency in order to: 1) make credit decisions about you, your family and members of your household, 2) contact you to reciver any debt owed, and 3) prevent and detect fraud. For details about which Credit Reference Agency is used please call Certegy on 0870 240 4222. Certegy will charge you a fee if your cheque is dishonoured.
Goods returns
Our goal is one-hundred percent customer satisfaction. If you don't like a product or it is the wrong size, send it back to us for a refund. You are entitled to return the goods within 14 days from delivery date, assuming the goods are unused, undamaged and in the original packaging.
To process your return, you must use our online returns system.
Simply log into your account and click the “return” link next to the order you wish to return. Then follow the simple instructions, print out your returns form and return it with your goods. Your refund will then be processed.
Returns not processed by our returns system and not accompanied by a correct returns form will be subject to an admin fee of £2.50.
If you have ordered products and you need a different size, you will need to return your items as described above. We will refund the cost of your items when they are received. You then need to order the correct sizes you require as normal online.
Charities
Do you offer discounts for charities?
We would very much like to be able to help all of the people contacting us regarding charitable projects. However we have taken the decision to select two nominated charities who we donate to on a regular basis. We are happy to try and assist you in finding the most suitable products at the lowest price but we do not offer specific discounts or free products for charities.
